Cyber Security Consultant - SOAR

We are looking for a Cyber Security Consultant to join us in a hybrid project (2x/week in the office).

Responsibilities:

• Proficiency in designing and implementing end-to-end workflows within the SOAR platform
• Ability to map out and optimize security incident response workflows within the SOAR platform
• Experience working with APIs to integrate security tools and platforms seamlessly
• Experience integrating SOAR solutions with cloud-based security services and platforms
• Lead and manage security operations using advanced tools and technologies, including SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) and EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) solutions
• Monitor and analyze security events and alerts, investigate potential security incidents, and coordinate incident response efforts
• Conduct threat hunting activities to identify and mitigate security threats before they materialize
• Develop and implement threat detection rules, use cases, and automated response playbooks

Requirements:

• Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, GIAC) are highly preferred
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in cybersecurity consulting, preferably within a managed security services environment
• Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with security operations tools such as SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and other related technologies
• Strong understanding of network protocols, architecture, and security controls
• Experience in conducting security assessments, threat hunting, and vulnerability management
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
