What The Role Is

You gather and manage information from diverse sources to ascertain trends regarding terrorism and security-related issues.

What You Will Be Working On

  • Collect, compile, format, and database information using data management tools
  • Sense-make and assess security implications for MINDEF/SAF
  • Liaise with technology providers and engineers to develop new data management tools


Challenge(s)

  • Operating in a rapidly-changing and diverse security environment
  • Working with tight deadlines and under time pressure


What We Are Looking For

  • Education in Strategic/Security Studies, International Relations, or a related field
  • Good awareness of geo-strategic developments, regional terrorism, and security landscape
  • Familiarity with data-basing and analytics tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau)
  • Independent and conscientious in meeting deadlines
  • Ability to communicate and work well with others
