With the strength of the Rakuten Point market, which has surpassed 3 trillion yen in total issuance, we are building the "Rakuten Economic Circle" through service collaboration with Rakuten Group companies and the introduction of cashless settlement services in physical stores, which are growing at an accelerated pace. Our settlement services can be used at approximately 5 million online and offline locations, including supermarkets, convenience stores, and shopping malls nationwide, as well as at approximately 1 million locations where traffic-related e-money can be used, and the number of locations where this service can be used is continuing to expand.

Why We Hire

With our service's rapid growth, we're looking for talented and creative people as a project manager.

Position Details

The service scale is not big, so we expect to be involved in the entireproject/product management for the services and act as a leading player. Your main role will be to lead the whole development phase

from requirements definition to system operation and maintenance. In the requirement definition phase, you will need to coordinate with the team leader to determine customers' desires and work closely with engineers to meet stakeholders’ needs. For the next phases, you will also work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget, coordinate with developers and other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible, and develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Experience in requirements definition and design
• Experience in project management
• Experience in KPI management
• Ability to communicate smoothly with stakeholders

• 5+ years' experience in project management for web services development
• Ability to analyze and solve problems
• Ability to think and act independently
• Ability to proactively enhance and optimize processes while respecting established workflows
