Quality Assurance Lead

Experience:

10+ years in software testing with at least 5 years in QA leadership roles.

Skills & Competencies:

Must Have:

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in REST API, SQL, NoSQL, and Python.
• Experience with SQL and MongoDB queries, JSON/XML payloads, and REST endpoint testing using tools like Postman and JMeter.
• Experience in UX/UI, CX and Customer / User Journey Test in Front end applications
• Experience / Knowledge in building a test automation framework from scratch and optimizing existing automation and test processes.
• Automate core and non core activities to improve efficiency, coverage and effectiveness. Have Right Quality FIRST TIME aspect ironed out.
• Understanding of OTT Platforms, Device-Specific Knowledge, Requirement analysis, Test case design, Test execution, Defect triage process, Defect management process, Chromecast SDK, Web Technologies, Regression Testing Knowledge.
• Tools: Jira, Zephyr, Android Studio, Xcode. Experience with front-end testing with multiple devices (Android, iOS, Smart TV, Web App, Web OS, Consoles, Roku, AFS, and Chromecast).

Design Skills:

• Experience with responsive/adaptive test design, test case development, UX/UI testing, and tools like Selenium. Knowledge of Progressive Web Apps (PWA) testing.

Domain Skills:

• Software testing methodologies, quality assurance, defect management. Knowledge of (SDLC), Agile Development Life Cycle (ADLC) , Product Development Life cycle (PDLC) and hybrid models

QA (Automation):

• Good to have: Knowledge and experience on Python, Selenium, Automation Frameworks, API Testing, Performance Testing, SQL and Database, Proficiency in Java/Kotlin for writing test scripts.

• Tools: Selenium, Appium, JIRA, Crashlytics, TestFlight, Charles Proxy.

Agile Process and Methodology Skills:

• Proficient in Agile/Scrum/Kanban development methodologies, experience with JIRA and Confluence. Tools and Framework:

• Mastery of test management tools, performance profiling tools, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), cloud technologies, security practices.
