Roles & Responsibilities

  • Planning, designing, building, configuring, and commissioning of telecommunications devices for microwave, 5G & LTE networks.
  • Carry out site surveys to gather information for the projects you are designing
  • Ensuring seamless interconnection of telecommunications systems with equipment from various manufacturers, service providers, and users.
  • Document project proposals to define objectives, identify scope, and estimate costs for equipment, parts, and services, generate BoM.
  • Evaluating and procuring new products and services from vendors to enhance telecommunications capabilities.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures in the deployment and maintenance of telecommunications systems.
  • Determining appropriate configurations of telecommunications hardware and software to achieve optimal performance.
  • Interpreting specifications & drawings, Preparing &submitting design Redlines and Hand Over Packs (HoP).
  • Building, configuring, and commissioning of ELV system for telecommunication system.
  • Testing, Identifying and analyzing issues within existing telecommunications systems, such as VSWR, Cable Loss interference, Call Testing, Fiber & RF fault finding.

Task & Responsibilities

We’re seeking candidates with technical experience & knowledge in following areas:

  • Radio communication site establishment for LTE & 5G network.
  • Microwave radio and UHF/VHF systems
  • Experience with Nokia or Ericsson system
  • Structured cabling systems (Cat6)
  • Telephony (analogue and VoIP)
  • Telecoms DC and AC power supply systems
  • Configuration and commissioning experience
  • Telecommunications inventory database management.
  • Outdoor comms pit & pipe
  • Fibre cable network design (splicing, termination onto FOBOTs, etc.)

Qualification & Experience

What You Bring

  • Bachelor of Engineering or Advanced Diploma
  • A minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience
  • A motivated team player who excels both collaboratively and independently
  • Willingness to travel (national)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience within Consulting environment is highly desirable
