V&A Market Due Diligence Specialist

The Ventures & Acquisitions team is part of our Global Corporate Development team and works with our senior business leaders to identify, acquire and integrate companies. Strategic acquisitions help Accenture enter and scale in priority growth offerings, which mean the target companies are often in the most exciting and pioneering capabilities. Accenture is the most acquisitive company in the market.

As a Specialist, you will be a member of a consulting team focused on performing M&A market research for a broad spectrum of markets and industries. You will report to the Market Due Diligence lead and will be part of a growing global and multicultural team.

Market due diligence includes:

Primary and secondary research and analysis of early-stage acquisition companies across different business strategic sectors, e.g. digital, technology, consulting.

Gather information, perform basic analysis on information gathered to provide meaningful insights, and organize findings into a compelling report.

Assessing companies’ strategic/commercial fit, identifying financial risks and opportunities.

Leverage data analytics and data visualization techniques to enhance reporting workflow.

Provide input on best practices and process optimization opportunities.

Bachelor in business administration, Accounting, Economics or similar

3 year of experience required in Market or M&A research, financial due diligence, financial analysis or similar consulting/corporate background.

Advanced in English.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Team player committed to providing high quality work in a timely manner.

Skilled user of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint), Pitchbook, Capital IQ, or other similar databases.
