We are looking for a Cloud Analytics Architect in our Business Application department. As a Cloud Analytics Architect you will be responsible for managing and developing the Data Cloud Platform and its architecture. This role involves providing guidelines and defining governance processes, advising, and consulting in business applications projects, and ensuring effective implementation and delivery of data integrations or pipelines. Additionally, you will provide training and consultancy to project teams and Data Cloud Platform users in IT and business.

SOLUTION DESIGN

As a Analytics Architect at Red Bull, you will be responsible for the introduction and implementation of data engineering & architecture development for data engineering and warehousing projects on our new Data Cloud Platform.

GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT

In this role, you will provide consultancy to project teams and other Data Cloud Platform stakeholders on data architecture or data engineering practices. You will also drive the adoption of new technologies, best practices and proven reference architectures. In addition, you’ll also provide regular training & onboardings to the organization, including updated documentation.

INTEGRATION OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES

The role supports the growth of Data Cloud Platform with an aim to complement current data offerings. In order to continuously improve the current data development and architecture guidelines, you will evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools and frameworks in alignment with all stakeholders. You will keep track of market trends and state of the art technologies or best practices and apply them in our landscape.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

  • University education and degree in computer science or a related field of study
  • Working experience with Data Cloud Warehouse management (Snowflake, Databricks, Google BQ)
  • Proficiency with engineering tools such as Github, DBT would be ideal
  • On-hand experience with orchestration tools (ie Dagster/Airflow)
  • Knowledge of SAP BW beneficial
  • Previous work experience in consumer goods business is a plus
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Strong leadership and communication skills as well as technical and entrepreneurial understanding of business processes

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2,392 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
