Who are we?

Fednot is the Federation of Belgian Notaries. Our mission is to support the +1100 notary offices and the ~8.000 notary's employees with legal expertise, management advise, IT solutions, training and information for the general public, etc.

Fednot also develops and delivers software solutions and services to support the digital transformation process of the notary offices. The solutions covers all notary domains (real estate, enterprise, family, etc.) and are based on state-of-the art technologies.

The AI/BI Team is responsible to create actionable insights from and AI-applications on the data that is managed in the notary offices.

AI & BI Team Lead (m, f, x)

Full-time, hybrid telework + office in Brussels

Your Role

The role of the AI & BI Team Lead is to manage :

• our team of data experts: Data and Business Analysts, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists
• our suppliers in the domain of BI and AI
• the Data Products (Reporting, Analysis, AI-solutions) we offer to our internal and external customers.

In this role, you will also be an ambassador of ‘Evidence Based Decision Making’ by explaining and presenting the value creation from data to all layers of the organization, including upper management, and promote our General Data Driven company vision and data objectives across the organization.

You are also expected to initiate new ideas, motivate people, build consensus and help solve data problems. To accomplish this, you will be part of a network of trusted colleagues within our own Department (Data Governance, Data Architect) and across the entire organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy & Vision: Translate company goals into actionable data strategies, promoting awareness of data’s value across the organization.
• Operational Excellence: Lead project planning, prioritization, and delivery within budget. Maintain and improve team processes to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Innovation & Advocacy: Proactively identify BI and AI opportunities, develop cutting-edge solutions, and ensure alignment with evolving legal frameworks.
• Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with cross-departmental teams, fostering collaboration and driving Fednot’s journey as a data-driven organization.
• Human-Centric Management: Coach and motivate your team, nurturing a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Your Profile:

• Experience: Proven track record in managing BI/AI resources, with expertise in tools like Google Big Query, Data Lakes, and AI technologies.
• Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to align data solutions with organizational goals and adapt to diverse departmental needs.
• Leadership Skills: Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving abilities, paired with a collaborative mindset.
• Continuous Learning: Stay ahead of industry trends, sharing insights and best practices to benefit the organization.
• Besides you speak perfect French or Dutch and have an excellent command of English
