The role and responsibilities of a data engineer will vary depending on client assignments and your own skillset and experience to date, and may include but not limited to

  • Authenticate, extract and/or load data into Healthcare databases using provided toolset.
  • Perform data analysis and validate data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify and collaborate with external data suppliers to resolve data quality queries in a timely manner and provide any feedback to ensure data submitted is accurate.
  • Prepare and share status reports with external clients and/or internal stakeholders.
  • Document process changes, update key information on client databases and internal systems.
  • Build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and ensure a collaborative approach to jointly owned actions.
  • Communicate in a clear, concise and articulate manner in both verbal and written communication, interfacing primarily with U.S. based clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Follow risk management and compliance procedures.
  • Review, identify and drive efficiencies in processes within the team. 




Minimum Qualifications And Requirements

  • Third level education in a technical field or science field with exposure to data and its management, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 0 -3 years of work experience in a analyst role or customer facing role, with experience gained in healthcare (specifically U.S. Healthcare) a plus.
  • Previous relevant internships will also be considered.
  • Experience with Microsoft suite of applications, GitHub, SQL and python a plus but not mandatory.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to a new environment and learn new tools, systems and techniques.
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to deal with all levels in a confident and professional manner.
  • Self-starter, can do attitude and  team player.
  • Ability to manage time, prioritise tasks and have strong attention to detail.
