What You Will Do:

• Develop and Maintain: Design, code, test, and maintain web applications and services, with a focus on usability, responsiveness, and scalability.
• Optimize Performance: Ensure applications are fast, secure, and efficient, optimizing for performance and scalability across all devices.
• Stay Current: Continuously update knowledge on emerging web technologies, tools, and trends within the fintech space to keep our applications at the forefront of industry standards.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with marketing manager, business operations and upper levels of leadership to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions that meet business goals.
• Troubleshoot and Debug: Quickly resolve technical issues and bugs to maintain high application reliability and user satisfaction.
• Implement Security Measures: Work with the security team to safeguard sensitive financial data and ensure applications meet compliance standards.
• Designing new software programs, websites, and applications
• Writing advanced programming code
• Reviewing updated software systems
• Managing project timelines and tasks
• Writing development reports
• Creating technical documents for new software programs
• Training staff on software use
• Salary: Base pay
• Hours: Monday - Friday (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
• In-office position; NOT REMOTE
• Looking to fill the position as soon as possible

What You Possess:

• Previous experience as a web application developer
• Advanced knowledge of programming languages including JavaScript, HTML5, Python, SQL, and CSS
• Knowledge of system frameworks including React, Django, Next.js, Git, and GitHub
• Experience creating and maintaining databases
• Experience working with Agile development technologies
• Advanced project management skills
• Familiarity with financial data security and compliance standards.
• Exposure to payment processing and transaction-based systems.
• Experience for optimizing a website for SEO is a plus.
• Experience with Salesforce
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in web application development, preferably in a fintech or financial services environment.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a passion for creating user-centered fintech applications.

Position Summary:

We’re seeking a skilled Web Application Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable web applications and integrations that provide a seamless user experience. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams. Your work will have a direct impact on clients’ financial experiences, helping them manage their credit and cash advance needs as well as building out the future of the business.
