Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify, pursue, and secure sales opportunities within large-scale construction projects, including residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Maintain a pipeline of prospective clients, including contractors, developers, architects, and project consultants.
Project Management Integration
- Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with project execution.
- Provide clients with technical solutions and proposals tailored to their project requirements.
- Monitor project milestones to ensure alignment with client expectations and timelines.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and government entities.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Attend client meetings, site visits, and industry events to enhance relationships and identify opportunities.
Market Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, market reports, and updates to senior management.
- Contribute to the development of marketing and promotional materials for the construction segment.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in project-based sales within the construction or building materials industry.
- Proven track record of managing and closing high-value projects.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex projects.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, project management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
