DevOps Engineer (Ref:5Ds51)

We are looking for our client, a respected IT & Consulting Company focused on IT, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data Warehousing, and Reporting, to hire a skilled DevOps Engineer.

The team operates under Agile methodologies, boasting a unique model adapted from Spotify. As part of the team, you'll work on projects involving internet banking applications, internal processes, and business needs, aiming to become a thought leader in Reactive Architectures and Functional programming on an international scale.

What You Would Do & Responsibilities:

• Manage operational environments supporting application development and deployment.
• Implement automated build and deployment processes using Azure DevOps and internal private cloud infrastructure.
• Deploy application functionality in various environments (Test, Acceptance, Production).
• Perform OS patching and maintain Windows systems.
• Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Maintain SLA, system availability, capacity management, and performance KPIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and ensure system functionality.
• Contribute to documentation and procedures for the supported areas.
• Automate and optimize processes to prevent errors and improve efficiency.
• Provide assistance and mentorship to new team members.

Requirements:

Hard Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering and/or Computer Science, or equivalent industry experience.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and using custom scripts for automation.
• Understanding of key DevOps responsibilities and concepts.
• At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft SQL databases.
• Familiarity with Build and Release strategies.
• Knowledge of load balancing, reverse proxies, distributed caches, and cluster technologies.
• Experience with VM-related issues such as creation, migration, performance monitoring, resizing, and connectivity.
• Ability to provide system analysis and improvement recommendations.

Soft Skills:
