International Programme Lead

Are you an experienced project manager who enjoys independently leading and executing projects? Do you get energised by facilitating workshops and training sessions, and working with startups and scale-ups to help them achieve international success? DutchBasecamp is looking for a new International Programme Lead to join our small, dynamic team!

In November 2024, we entered into a strategic alliance with ACE. By combining our expertise, we can further increase our impact and offer even better guidance to companies throughout the entire internationalisation process. ACE helps businesses thrive globally by delivering expert, personalised support every step of the way, providing tailored administrative solutions and support—from entity setup and tax compliance to payroll and bookkeeping. This partnership offers great opportunities for our programs and projects and strengthens our joint offerings.

What Will You Do?

As an International Programme Lead, you will be responsible for leading and executing programmes and projects that help startups and scale-ups realise their international ambitions. This includes:

• Developing and facilitating sector-specific internationalisation programmes on behalf of clients;
• Organizing ‘Scaling to Market’ business trips for groups of entrepreneurs to foreign markets to help them connect to the local network build their market entry strategy;
• Delivering workshops and other sessions (online and offline) on internationalisation, including facilitating these sessions for groups of entrepreneurs and other professionals.
• Ensuring methodical and strategic oversight for your own projects and team operations under pressure, while supporting and coaching junior team members and serving as their key contact.

You will often work on behalf of clients such as government organisations, economic development agencies. Your goal is to deliver programs that are highly valued by the participants (resulting in a high NPS) and considered successful by our clients.

Who Are You?

• You have at least a Bachelor's degree.
• You have relevant work experience as a project manager or project lead (minimum 3-5 years).
• You are a natural facilitator and feel comfortable standing in front of groups
• You work methodically and strategically, maintaining oversight even under pressure of your own projects as well as considering operational team impacts on general operations and flows
• You have experience with supporting & coaching junior team members and would enjoy being the key contact person for our junior team member/s and interns
• You have a passion for startups and scale-ups and understand their challenges and opportunities
• You are social, people-oriented, and decisive (an ESFJ personality profile fits well in this role)
• Experience with internationalisation is a plus.
• You are outgoing and a team player who can work in a small team and take on various tasks (from operational to strategic to programme facilitation).
• You speak professional Dutch and English;
• You are already living in the Netherlands and eligible to work in the Netherlands (no visa sponsorship possible)

• A market-conform salary, ranging from €4.000 - €4.500 monthly gross wage (excluding 8% holiday allowance) and good secondary employment conditions.
