Senior Manager - Privacy & Data Protection

Having experienced extraordinary growth across the Nordics in the last few years, they are looking to recruit Managers and Senior Managers to join their Data Protection and Privacy business. As a Senior Manager for Data Protection and Privacy you will be a leading figure within the team, helping clients to protect themselves against the evolving Data Protection landscape.
You will participate in local and global projects assigned to the Privacy and data protection domain, working with clients across Banking & Finance, Oil & Gases, Public Sector and many other industries.
Principally you will be responsible for working with organisations from C suite through to the wider business, understanding the privacy and data protection challenges and helping them to build and implement a formidable strategy to safeguard data within the business.
Your key responsibilities
Working within the Data Protection & Privacy competency, you will help clients define technical and business requirements for data protection solutions as well as develop business processes and policies related to controlling access to data. This includes helping clients to identify, understand and protect their most critical data throughout the data lifecycle. Engagements range from identifying high value assets to developing data classification schemes, standards and guidelines and implementing processes and technologies to provide leading data protection capabilities.
You will also hold responsibility for mentoring members or the team as well growing the business unit. This will include recruitment as well as business development activities.
Skills and attributes for success
- Several years of experienced working as an expert in Privacy and Data Protection.
- Consultancy experience or working within an enterprise environment with responsibility for leading significant privacy projects.
- Deep privacy and data protection experience, but also the ability to spot opportunities for business development and project wins.
- Able to comfortably articulate ideas and solutions to C suite and the wider business.
- Fluent Norwegian and English language skills.
