Involved Solutions is collaborating with a leading cybersecurity consultancy to hire a SOC Manager to lead their Security Operations Centre (SOC) and help protect their clients from evolving cyber threats.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the Security Operations Centre, ensuring 24/7 coverage and effective incident response.
• Lead and mentor a team of SOC analysts, providing guidance on threat detection, investigation, and mitigation.
• Develop and implement SOC processes, playbooks, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to understand security needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Monitor the threat landscape, ensuring the SOC stays ahead of emerging risks and trends.
• Maintain and enhance the SOC's technical tools and capabilities, including SIEM, EDR, and threat intelligence platforms.

About you:

• Proven experience in a SOC management or similar leadership role within cybersecurity.
• Strong understanding of security operations, threat analysis, and incident response processes.
• Proficiency with SOC tools such as SIEM platforms, EDR solutions, and threat intelligence systems.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• A proactive and adaptable approach to addressing complex challenges in a dynamic environment.
