Cyber Security Architect

• Role: Cyber Security Architecture
• Location: Dubai
• Notice: Candidate who is available to join immediately.  
• Contract duration: 1 year for both position

Job Description:

• Assist in the development of a strategic security architecture vision including standards, policies, procedures that are aligned with overall business strategy and industry best practices and standards such ISO, NIST, SOC, etc
• Review existing IT security architecture, identifying design gaps and recommending security enhancements
• Determine security requirements by evaluating Organization business strategies and requirements, researching information security standards, conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments, studying architecture/platform
• Assist in the development of new security architectures, security policies, principles and standards as needed by actual or expected business change at Organization
• Drive the integration of security systems with security operational processes at Organization, building on and improving those processes across the organization
• Support IT Security Department in creating, reviewing and updating the information security strategy and roadmaps on a periodic basis
• Perform the deployment, integration and initial configuration of all new security solutions and of any enhancements to existing security solutions at Organization
• Upgrade security systems by monitoring security environment, identifying security gaps, evaluating and implementing enhancements
• Research current as well as emerging security threats and design security architecture to mitigate threats where possible
• Evaluate new and emerging security technologies for potential suitability in the Organization’s environment
• Develop Organization security architecture compliant with industry standards, global benchmarks, as well as governmental regulations
• Report actual or suspected vulnerabilities/breaches in the confidentiality, integrity or availability of Data and Security breaches to Information Security Office
• Develop, maintain, and execute a cloud security strategy aligned with the organization’s business goals, risk appetite, and compliance requirements.
• Architect and implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions using public, private, or hybrid cloud platforms. 
• Design cloud-native security architectures leveraging Zero Trust models, IAM policies, encryption standards, and secure networking configurations.
• Lead cloud migration initiatives by conducting security architecture assessments and planning secure migration strategies.
• Ensure compliance with security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, ISR, CSA) and cloud governance frameworks.
• Design and implement data protection mechanisms including encryption, masking, and tokenization for data at rest, in transit, and in use.
• Work closely with the IT team, applications, developers, and other stakeholders to integrate cloud solutions with existing systems and applications.
