Senior Project Manager

Location: Client Location, Dubai, UAE

Salary: AED 25,000 to AED 28,000

We are looking for a highly experienced IT Project Manager with strong Airline domain knowledge to support the work program for our client, a major airline based in UAE.

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, budget, resources, and deliverables for both in-house and vendor product implementation projects.
• Lead the Request for Purchase (RFP) process with documenting requirements, identifying suitable vendors, vendor evaluation & selection and contracting.
• Create a project specific Governance / Cadence to ensure right level of monitoring and guidance from the right stakeholders.
• Ensure effective utilization of resources and lead the project team towards success of the project.
• Foster open and clear communication channels within the project team and with all stakeholders.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project progress and updates effectively through regular status reviews and reporting.
• Manage project tasks and dependencies, tracking progress and ensuring adherence to timelines and milestones.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Proactively manage and resolve issues to minimize project impact.
• Implement quality control processes to ensure project deliverables meet defined standards.
• Monitor project costs, ensuring that the project is delivered within the approved cost.
• Implement effective change controls to manage any changes that come after the project baseline.
• Manage any changes to Scope, Timeline and Cost through the defined Project Change Request process.
• Conduct project reviews to analyze successes and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of professional IT project management experience.
• 8+ years of experience in Airline IT domain.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. A Master’s degree
• Relevant professional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
