Senior Java Software Engineer

EC1 is working with an exciting FinTech what is coding high throughput, low latency electronic trading systems. We are looking for someone that thinks outside the box and wants to make a difference in the e-trading space.

You should have:

• Excellent communication skills with a good attention to detail
• Avid follower of new technologies and market trends – basically be a passionate developer!
• Strong understanding of low latency systems and design
• Enthusiastic about constantly improving both software and development processes
• Have a good understanding and experience with Extreme Programming and Continuous Delivery methodologies

Technical Requirement:

• Java (Ideally 17+)
• Low Latency / High performance systems
• Experience with FIX
• Docker, Kubernetes, Confluence and Git

Ideally you will have:

• Experience with electronic trading (nice to have)
• Infrastructure as code / DevOps and CD / CI
• Experience with blockchain technologies (bonus)
• API design
