Head of Commercial

Our client is looking for a Head of Digital Assets in SG. They are a blockchain powered FMI. This person would lead the product and commercial strategy for their platform, advancing digital FMI in Asia.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: Define and execute the digital asset unit’s roadmap aligned with company goals.
• Market Opportunities: Identify growth areas across funds, credit, structured products, and real-world assets (RWA) for new business and cross-sell opportunities.
• Revenue Growth: Drive business unit profitability, oversee resource planning, and ensure timely execution.
• Partnership Development: Forge alliances with banks, asset managers, and financial market infrastructures to fuel growth.
• Client Relations: Collaborate with commercial leads to strengthen institutional client relationships.
• Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing team spanning product and commercial functions.
• Performance Management: Set and monitor KPIs to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary spokesperson, reporting progress to the executive team, board, and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years in product or commercial roles within fintech, banking, asset management, or financial intermediaries, with hands-on experience in digital assets (e.g., smart contracts, ledger technologies).
• Proven leadership and P&L management in cross-functional and dynamic environments.
• Expertise in digital assets and familiarity with fixed income, structured products, or funds.
• Strong network within financial institutions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
