Security Analyst

Location: Columbia, SC (On-Site)

Compensation: $75,000 - $95,000 + Pension

What will your day look like?

• Security Oversight: Monitor web traffic, firewalls, SIEMs, and IT security tools to ensure compliance and protect organizational assets.
• Compliance & Policy Management: Conduct vulnerability scans, manage system updates, and ensure adherence to NIST standards.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot alerts, resolve security issues, and proactively strengthen the company’s overall cybersecurity posture.

Who are you?

• IT Professional: Experience in IT security with strong technical knowledge of firewalls, SIEMs, and compliance tools.
• Certified Expert: Security-related certifications such as Security+, CySA+, or CCNA Security are a plus.
• Problem Solver: Adept at analyzing threats, troubleshooting incidents, and recommending solutions.
