This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent and Fixed Term Full Time appointments.
We currently have one Fixed Term Full Time appointment available for 12 months with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

Eligibility to Apply: To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).

WA Health policies require applicants to undertake criminal records screening and integrity checking as part of the appointment process. Position Profile: Are you passionate about technology and cyber security? Do you want to play a pivotal role in protecting critical systems and data for The Department of Health (DoH). The DoH is seeking a dynamic Cyber Security Manager to lead the team and shape our Cyber Security initiatives, utilising your transferable skills and diverse experience.
You'll be at the forefront of leading, developing, managing, and undertaking system-wide ICT strategy and governance initiatives/projects, including oversight of the implementation of WA Health cyber security strategies, cyber security frameworks, cyber security implementation plans, cyber security risk and assurance reviews and cyber security business cases. You will provide strategic advice, identify and build relationships with stakeholders on crucial cyber security issues, in alignment with our WA Health Digital Strategy.

- Demonstrated extensive experience and expertise in ICT planning, implementation, and operations.
- Demonstrated experience in assurance techniques within a complex organisation including the ability to plan and deliver an assurance program of work.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to reconcile information and make considered assessments pertaining to the organisational risk and the capability to make rigorous recommendations to remediate.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills including negotiation, facilitation and liaison skills and the ability to gain cooperation amongst stakeholders with potentially competing interests.
- Highly developed analysis skills to facilitate audit of risk controls and management reporting for assurance purposes.
