What will you do within our Data Strategy & Governance practice?

The mission of our Data Strategy & Governance team is to assist and support clients in the development of data governance processes, ensuring the quality, robustness and integrity of their data and data sources; guaranteeing that business stakeholders, analysts and data scientists can have agile and timely access to quality data, essential to establish the consequent processes of decision making, advanced analytics and innovation.

We offer you the opportunity to develop your career by contributing with your work in the development of different projects within the field of data governance and management, definition of data architectures, traceability management and data lineage design, applying the latest techniques and methodologies:

• Definition of a global and transparent data architecture that ensures access, reliability and availability of high quality data for the different stakeholders present in the business.
• Improvement of the processes of collection, transport and ingestion, maintenance and cleansing, and access to corporate data assets.
• Cross-functional data centralization and standardization projects to ensure that data is efficiently exploited by the different business areas.
• Change management, demonstrating the benefits that data availability and the democratization of its use and access has for our clients.
• Collaboration with business users, process owners, application / technology platform managers and data engineering teams to establish data supply chains meeting the highest standards in terms of performance, availability and maintainability; employing cutting-edge Big Data and Analytics technologies.
• It operates in hybrid environments of data sources (In-House, On-Premise, as well as cloud environments); establishing design patterns of data architectures that provide the flexibility, scalability and efficiency required to maximize the value provided and ensure its subsequent reuse.

Professional profile:

• Degree in Computer Science, mathematics or similar
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in consulting
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in in data governance project or cloud data analytics
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in public sector consulting
• Experience in projects of evaluation, definition and operationalization of data management plans and data offices
• Definition of data management governance models (roles and responsibilities, policies and processes, glossary of business terms, etc.).
• Ability to liaise with different corporate areas (business, IT, security and privacy, etc.) to coordinate tasks and align management and governance aspects.
• Ability to identify business needs with a global vision, take requirements and define initiatives in different strategic areas, providing support in the technical implementation.
• Knowledge of implementation of data models (conceptual, logical, physical)
• Definition and deployment of models for the management of Data Quality, Metadata, Security and Privacy, Master Data, etc.
• Definition and deployment of change management and data culture initiatives.
• Valuable experience and theoretical and practical knowledge in data governance frameworks such as DAMA DMBOK, DCAM, etc. and certified CMDP.
• High level of English
• Certified in Azure Cloud Services
• Knowledge of Data Governance tools (Informatica Axon, Purview, EDC, Collibra, IBM WKC, Talend, etc.)

Knowledge and certifications in any of the following tools will be a plus:

• Experience with other cloud solutions (AWS or GCP).
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau or other visualization solutions.

Madrid/Barcelona (possibility of telecommuting up to 80% of the working day)
