We are currently looking for a Product Manager BESS (Battery Energy Stockage System), position to be filled at Helmond for our Customized Energy Solutions Division.

JOB PURPOSE

The Product Manager BESS will be in charge of the BESS product road map inside the Energy solutions division. He/She will ensure that our offer is aligned with the current market requirements and will make the bridge with the R&D team. Through his/her contribution, he/she is a key player in the long-term profitable growth.

A good understanding of the ESS technology and market know-how are essential to be successful in this role. His/her action is one of the main driver of the customer satisfaction.

SPECIFIC RESPONSABILITIES AND AUTHORITIES

• In charge of the BESS product road map
• Align our offer to the current market requirements and bridge with the R&D team
• In charge of product certifications and adjustments to regional specific requirements
• Remain focus on market trends, technical developments and innovation in the ESS offer in order to define and guide R&D on future product development
• Monitoring product cost targets, giving inputs to other functions in the internal value chain to ensure a competitive product line meeting the market requirements
• Technical support to the sales team for product information, customer training, technical data sheet analyses…
• Prioritize sales projects to be supported by R&D
• Organize product launch programs and coordinates product information with our communication teams
• Support pre-sales and project technical analyses

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

You have an University degree in a technical/engineering field. A specalization or training in energy or renewable energy is a plus. You have at least 5 years of experience in product management poistions, and ideally a strong desire and eagerness to be engaged in battery technologies on a technical level.

You are recognised for your communication skills, you like to work closely with different functions. You have a proven track record of dealing with customers and are committed to developing collaborative relationships to deliver results.

The mastery and English (written and verbal) is essential for the successful completion of your assignments.
