We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the electrification and modernization of port cranes. The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of the project, from planning and execution to commissioning and handover, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the project team, including engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in alignment with client expectations.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet project milestones and deadlines.
  • Ensure all MV switchgear, transformers, and other components are installed to specification.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory and safety standards, including TDT certification requirements, conduct regular safety audits
  • Control financial aspects of the project, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking, prepare financial reports
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and status reports; prepare and deliver detailed project updates
  • Ensure the successful handover of completed systems, including operational training for client technicians.
  • Deliver comprehensive manuals and post-project support documentation.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field. PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in port equipment, cranes, or heavy industrial systems.
  • Proven experience managing projects involving electrification and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with STS (Ship-to-Shore), RTG (Rubber-Tired Gantry), and RMG (Rail-Mounted Gantry) cranes.
  • Knowledge of terminal operating systems (TOS) and their integration with crane operations.
  • Familiarity with port infrastructure planning and development.
  • Experience in the port industry.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office Suite, including MS Project, for planning and tracking project activities.
