A unique opportunity has arisen in Dubai to join the first in a global series of hubs designed to support blockchain developers and entrepreneurs.

While my client's name must remain confidential at this stage, they are in partnership with a leading layer one blockchain company, whose goal is to provide expert resources, advisory, and funding to local Web3 founders and builders as part of a broader push for regional growth.

The Web3 Research and Strategy Manager will play a critical role in identifying high-potential projects and trends within the blockchain ecosystem, ensuring our client stays ahead of emerging technologies and market opportunities. This role will provide expert advisory on tokenomics for Web3 projects, collaborating closely with stakeholders to design sustainable and scalable economic models.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with deep expertise in blockchain ecosystems, tokenomics, and Web3 innovation, capable of driving initiatives from research to execution while representing the studio at key industry events.

Responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive market research to identify trends, emerging technologies, and high-potential opportunities in areas like DeFi, NFTs, DAOs, and Layer 1/2 solutions.
• Providing expert guidance on the design, modeling, and optimization of tokenomics for Web3 projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and market conditions.
• Sourcing, evaluating, and building a pipeline of promising Web3 startups, projects, and collaborators.
• Delivering actionable insights through detailed reports and presentations, and developing data-driven strategies for venture development and portfolio growth.
• Building relationships with key players in the blockchain ecosystem to identify partnership opportunities and represent the studio at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
• Collaborating with internal teams, including product, marketing, and investment, to align identified opportunities with studio goals.

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Have at least 5 years of experience in Web3 market research, strategy, or consulting roles.
• Possess deep knowledge of blockchain ecosystems, including DeFi, NFTs, DAOs, Layer 1/2 solutions, and tokenomics.
• Demonstrate expertise in designing, analyzing, and optimizing tokenomic models for Web3 projects.
• Show a proven track record of identifying and capturing market opportunities in the blockchain space.
• Exhibit exceptional analytical skills and the ability to synthesize market data into actionable strategies.
• Have a strong network within the blockchain and venture capital ecosystems (highly desirable).
• Be familiar with emerging technologies intersecting with Web3, such as AI/ML, gaming, or the metaverse.
