Introduction

Brunel is seeking a Project Manager Office for our client based in Saskatoon. This role will monitor project performance, promote seamless communication between teams, and maintain essential project documentation. We are looking for a motivated and adaptable individual who can excel across multiple regions and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects, ensuring adherence to PMO processes and methodologies.
  • Maintain project documentation, including project SharePoint, status reports, meeting notes, and risk management logs.
  • Prepare and distribute regular project and working group status reports, highlighting key metrics and progress against project timelines.
  • Manage the Risk Register to ensure it is up to date and complete, producing weekly and monthly risk reports.
  • Facilitate communication among project teams, stakeholders, and management, ensuring alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Support program and project managers with day-to-day project management activities.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a project management office, project management, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and MS SharePoint Online.
  • SAP knowledge is beneficial.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or a similar certification.
  • Experience in the resources industry is an asset.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
