OT Cyber Security Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled OT Cybersecurity Engineer for MENA region with a strong

understanding of Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS)

environments, specifically within the utilities and oil & gas sectors. The ideal candidate will

be responsible for performing Risk & Vulnerability Assessment in remote sites, in addition to configuring, and testing OT/ICS cybersecurity tools while ensuring the security and

operational continuity of OT assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, Install, configure, test commission, and maintain OT/ICS cybersecurity solutions (e.g., firewalls, data diodes, EDR, Intrusion Detection Systems, anomaly detection tools, network capture, Antimalware, Asset inventory, Vulnerability scan, backup & restoration, Secure Remote Access, Log Management, Access Control) in accordance with industry standards and best practices.

• Integration of OT systems to SIEM/SOC.

• Perform security assessments and vulnerability testing of OT/ICS environments to identify potential risks and recommend appropriate mitigations.

• Responsible for performing vulnerability scans in the OT live environments and on FAT and SAT stages.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication & Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 5+ years of experience in OT cybersecurity, with hands-on experience in utilities or oil & gas OT/ICS environments.

• Proven experience with cybersecurity tools for OT environments, including network monitoring, intrusion detection, and endpoint protection systems.

• Strong understanding of network segmentation and architectures and security best practices in OT/ICS environments.

• Familiarity with vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing for critical infrastructure.

• Familiarity with incident response in OT/ICS environments, including forensic analysis and threat mitigation techniques.
