Are you a skilled C++ Software Engineer with a passion for solving complex problems? We're looking for a talented engineer to join our innovative team where you’ll design and develop software solutions, automate BDD scenarios, and collaborate with a dynamic group to deliver high-quality products. In this role, you’ll take ownership of complex software challenges and contribute from design all the way through to delivery, ensuring our software meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Development: Lead the design and implementation of new product features, while also enhancing and optimizing existing features to improve functionality.
• Automated Testing: Build and execute unit tests for both new and legacy application code to ensure reliability and performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Customer Care team to address and resolve issues with released software quickly and efficiently.
• Quality Commitment: Display an unwavering dedication to software engineering best practices, focusing on maintaining high-quality standards and protecting sensitive data.
• Agile Participation: Actively participate in daily scrum meetings, sprint planning, and provide accurate work estimates to help manage project timelines.
• Team Mentorship: Guide and mentor team members by conducting code and test reviews, sharing knowledge, and promoting best practices.
• Problem Solving: Take the lead in driving solutions to complex, time-critical problems, ensuring effective resolutions that align with business objectives.

Qualifications:

• 6-7+ years of C++ experience
• Knowledgeable in navigating outdated code
• Skilled with automated qualification and fixing
• Knowledge in defect fixing and debugging
• Heavy automation experience
• C# experience
• Experience with any scripting language

Preferred:

• Javascript
• Payments industry experience
