Application Architect (React, React Native and Node.js)

We are looking for a technical Application Architect to join the Architecture Team of our client, which is one of Europe's fastest growing mobile companies with over four million active customers, 1,000 employees worldwide and operations in five countries. The client is using the mobile virtual network operator business model.

The team is focused on optimizing Web and App front ends, designing a robust landscape that leverages digital capabilities as modular components. This role will be essential in translating the vision into actionable designs and plans that the Development Team can implement with minimal supervision.

The aim is to provide innovative design and architecture that enhance speed, flexibility, and personalization, enabling intelligence-driven customer experiences on a responsive and scalable platform.

Responsibilities:

• Acting as a technical thought leader and as an architect across all front-end teams delivering digital solutions for end users
• Building and extending the architecture of Web/App platforms as per the laid out guiding principles
• Transforming High level architecture into Technical Designs
• Transforming Functional & Non-functional requirements into designs
• Co-ordinating with product & business teams to close the loop for requirements & include into final solution proposal
• Assessing various available options, weighing their pros and cons, and documenting the results as an Architectural Decision Record (ADR)
• Assisting and advising the engineering teams in selecting tools and evaluating multiple providers
• Outlining the Technical Architecture for each individual component including Web, App, SSO, Ecommerce capabilities etc.
• Facilitating and participating in design review sessions to ensure alignment with architectural standards and best practices
• Conducting risk assessments of new & existing technologies and implementations, ensuring compliance with security, data protection and regulatory requirements.
  
  

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Proven experience in React or Node.js technologies
• Proven experience in working in complex enterprise solution with various dependencies
• Deep understanding of head-less, micro services based, API first & event-based architecture
• Good experience with Cloud Native SaaS & custom-built applications, components & capabilities
• Solid experience of working with Open Technology & best of breed enterprise Technology landscape
• Working experience of building solutions in Azure or AWS cloud infrastructure
• Experience to articulate the design preferences & choices to senior stakeholders using documented analytical approach
• Familiarity with Agile working principles
• Experience of working with tools like Lucid, JIRA, Confluence etc.
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong commitment to quality, documentation, and teamwork
• Upper intermediate level of English
• Be ready to work during 8am - 5pm UK time

• Experience working with Adobe Mar-Tec suite Adobe AEM, Adobe Target etc.
• Experience with React.native
• Certification in architecture from Azure or AWS
• Working experience with SAFE framework
