The role:

We are looking for a skilled freelance UX/UI Designer to collaborate on a client project for an estimated 10-day engagement. This role involves drafting high-fidelity designs in Figma based on our established requirements, with a focus on the client’s website look and feel.

The key responsibilities include:

• Designs: Build upon high-fidelity designs in Figma using existing requirements, client branding, and website aesthetics.
• Workshop: Assist an onsite workshop in London or Southampton with the client and internal team to design and iterate customer ideas and requirements
• Iterative Design Refinement: Use insights from the workshop to refine or recreate designs as necessary.
• Customer Review Session: Conduct a half-day review session with the client to ensure design alignment.
• Development: Participate in initial development sprints to provide UX/UI expertise and quality-control for design during the initial development sprints.
• Final Design Delivery: Finalize and deliver designs by the end of October or early November to allow for timely development of front-end website pages.
  
  

Important to have:

• Proficiency in Figma and experience creating UI designs for web projects.
• Strong understanding of UI design principles, including layout, color theory, and typography.
• Ability to work efficiently in a remote setting, while maintaining regular communication with the team.
• Experience conducting client workshops and design reviews to gather requirements and feedback.
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous UI design projects, preferably with experience working on corporate or client websites.
