We are seeking an experienced Website Strategist to join our team! This role is responsible for leading the strategic components of our website redesign projects and continuous website improvement programs. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and work directly with clients to craft website experiences that bring brands to life while supporting business and user objectives.


This role requires expertise in UX, SEO, information architecture, content strategy, conversion rate optimization, and website analytics. This is not a UI design or front-end development role, but your ability to guide and collaborate with those teams will be instrumental in delivering successful projects.

Job Responsibilities

Research and Strategy:

  • Conduct website audits to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions to develop client goals, user needs, and project vision.
  • Define strategic requirements to ensure alignment with objectives.

User Experience (UX):

  • Analyze user behavior to uncover pain points and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with design teams to craft intuitive, user-centric experiences across devices.
  • Ensure strategies align with web accessibility standards and enhance usability.

Website Architecture:

  • Develop sitemaps, content outlines, and navigation systems to support seamless user journeys.
  • Optimize information architecture for usability and alignment with project goals.

Content Strategy:

  • Audit and evaluate content for quality, relevance, and alignment with objectives.
  • Develop content outlines and hierarchies that complement site architecture.
  • Partner with copywriters to create content that supports strategic goals.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO):

  • Conduct keyword research to inform site structure and content strategy.
  • Integrate SEO best practices into navigation, content, and site design.
  • Collaborate on technical and on-page SEO optimizations.

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):

  • Develop strategies to improve lead generation and conversions across the website.
  • Optimize campaign landing pages to drive measurable results.
  • Use data insights to refine and enhance CRO efforts continuously.

Website Analytics and Performance:

  • Perform regular website performance audits to guide strategy and improvements.
  • Deliver actionable reports and insights to clients and internal teams.

Client Engagement:

  • Build trusted client relationships by effectively communicating insights, strategies, and results.
  • Present audit findings, performance reports, and recommendations in client meetings.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Partner with strategists, designers, developers, writers, and account managers to execute strategies seamlessly.
  • Communicate strategies, progress, and outcomes clearly to all stakeholders.


Requirements for Application:

  • 3+ years of experience in website strategy, including UX, SEO, site architecture, content strategy, CRO, and analytics.
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, and Google Search Console.
  • Strong understanding of web design and development processes (no coding or design required).
  • Self-motivated and able to manage own tasks and schedule.
  • Experience presenting strategic plans and ideas to client stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating with other strategists, creatives, and account teams.
  • Comfortable managing a robust and diverse workload of client projects.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress is a plus.
  • A team-oriented mindset with a passion for collaboration and innovation.
  • PREFERRED: Experience in the technology, software, business services, engineering, or education (including k-12, higher education, and education technology) sectors.
  • B2 High English level required
