Job Description

As a SRE Engineer III, you will join one of our engineering teams responsible for managing all aspects of hosting, monitoring, reporting, and incident troubleshooting of various applications running in multiple locations and data centers.

• Support and maintain Windows-based applications in high-availability production and non-production environments.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd line incident support to ensure prompt and efficient issue resolution.
• Collaborate closely with other teams, including development, infrastructure, and security, to ensure applications operate on reliable and secure infrastructure.
• Maintain, adapt, and improve monitoring and reporting.
• Implement best practices for application operations, including change management, release management, capacity, and resource planning, as well as fine-tuning of application environments.
• Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and other key stakeholders, providing advice and support on relevant topics.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Participate in an on-call rotation.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior team members to foster their professional development and growth.
  
  

Qualifications

• An expert with at least 3+ years of experience in Windows-based application operations.
• Experienced in working in a high-availability, 24/7 production environment.
• Experience with AppDynamics, Kibana, Grafana, and SCOM.
• Experience with Automation.
• Experienced in application hosting (.NET/Java).
• Good Web/App Server skills (IIS).
• Good Networking skills.
• Good Infrastructure skills (DNS, OS, Virtualization).
• Experience in scripting (PowerShell, etc.).
• Experienced with cloud technologies and containerization is a plus.
• Basic programming experience in C# is a plus.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
• Self-driven personality with a keen eagerness to learn and deliver.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and training skills.
