Full-Stack Developer - Node.js - React.js - TypeScript

🔍 Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate Full-Stack Developer with a backend focus on Node.js to join a dynamic startup located in Brussels, a company dedicated to redefining the merchandising industry.

👥 The Team

Structure: Team of 20 employees, including an agile and motivated tech team.

You'll be working closely with a Senior and a Medior dev.

🎯 Technical Environment and Challenges

Core Stack: TypeScript, Node.js, React, and GraphQL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Focus on backend development with Node.js, while contributing to the full stack as needed.
• Optimize performance and scalability of the system.
• Collaborate on designing and implementing new features.
• Maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

Current Projects:

• Continuous improvement of the platform infrastructure.
• Development of new features to enhance user experience.
• Exploring DevOps practices to streamline deployment and monitoring processes (a big plus!).

🎯 Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience: 6 months to 3–4 years in full-stack development, with strong expertise in Node.js and a solid understanding of React and TypeScript.

Backend Focus: Comfortable working predominantly on backend tasks, while being open to contributing to front-end development as needed.

DevOps Skills: Experience or interest in DevOps practices (CI/CD, Docker, AWS, etc.) is a big plus!

Skills:

• Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to find compromises.
• Proactivity and willingness to take ownership of projects.
• Excellent communication and team-player mentality.
• Passion for clean code and performance optimization.
• Languages: Proficient in English. French or Dutch are a plus!

📍 Location & Working Model

Office: Located in Ixelles, Brussels.

Hybrid Work: 2-3 days onsite, with flexibility for remote work.

International Work: Possibility to work from abroad for a set duration.
