Network Engineer

Job Title: Network Engineer

Location: Strasbourg onsite

Contract Type: 4 years contract

Our client is a large consultancy and is working on a huge European project to do with the freedom of movement of EU nationals. The scope of this work is at least 4 years and my client is looking to give a minimum of a 2 year contract.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, install and configure network solutions
• Implement network maintenance routines and schedules
• Implement and operate orchestration/automation tooling to maintain and extend network solutions
• Implement and operate network management, reporting and monitoring tooling
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and solve network issues
• Implement and operate network-related software providing shared services
• Implement network backup, restore, performance tuning and analysis
• Produce and maintain network technical documentation and operational procedures
• Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing network security measures
• Planning, installing, testing and conducting surveys of wireless network installations

Required knowledge and skills

• Setup, configuration and troubleshooting of Fortigate Firewalls.
• Setup, configuration and troubleshooting of Checkpoint Firewalls
• Setup, configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco ACI
• Setup, configuration and troubleshooting of F5 loadbalancers
• Setup, configuration and troubleshooting of Certes Technologies
• Setup, configuration and troubleshooting of AZURE Cloud network and security Technology stack
