Job Title: Data Analyst (Contract)

Amsterdam based - hybrid

Up to €64.00 per hour

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Data Analyst for a contract position based in Amsterdam. In this role, you will leverage data to drive business solutions, support decision-making processes, and contribute to key strategic initiatives. You will work independently with stakeholders, using your expertise in data analysis to define problems, set success metrics, and provide actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage data collection, preparation, and reporting to solve business problems.
• Translate business challenges into data-driven solutions, creating clear data stories.
• Maintain and manage key reports, metrics, and workflows within your scope.
• Communicate data results and insights effectively to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contributing to data quality and stability initiatives.
• Utilize data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Mixpanel) to answer business questions efficiently.
• Participate in the development and execution of data governance processes, ensuring high-quality data management.
• Continuously improve your technical skills and adapt to new approaches to optimize processes and workflows.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• 5-8 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, with a strong focus on data management and visualization.
• Proficiency in at least one data analysis language (e.g., SQL, R, Python).
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Mixpanel, etc.).
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to understand the bigger picture while focusing on details.
• Experience with statistical models and an understanding of experimentation processes.
• Knowledge of data governance practices, including data quality monitoring and lineage management.
