Web3/Blockchain Lawyer

Although the company is based in Switzerland, the team is decentralised, spanning all across the continent! ⚡️⚡️⚡️ We are currently hiring a mid-to-senior legal position that will include managing clients, team members, and being responsible for the end-to-end process of delivering legal services and advice to clients working with blockchain technology.

You need to be interested, curious, and passionate about Web3, blockchain technology, crypto/digital assets, metaverse, DeFi, DAOs, regulation of innovative finance, and alternative governance models. We are currently looking for a Legal Manager to join the Legal & Compliance Department :

Your main responsibilities:

⚡️You should be familiar with all of these activities, and have experience with at least half of them⚡️

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts specific to the Web3 space, such as SAFTs, SAFEs, token sale and pre-sale agreements, convertible loans, listing agreements, market-making agreements, and software licensing agreements. 
• Draft general terms and conditions of services for centralised and decentralised Web3 platforms; 
• Advise on the legal implications arising out of innovative business models related to decentralised DeFinance, DAOs, metaverse, NFTs, and tokenisation of assets;
• Conduct cross-jurisdictional regulatory risk assessments;
• Draft legal opinions concerning the qualification of a blockchain-based digital token under the laws of Switzerland and/or the European Union;
• Creating AML/CTF internal policies and procedures and assisting in implementing those;
• Assist clients in getting licensed in Switzerland and/or in EU Member States.

Job requirements:

• Admitted to practice law in Switzerland, UK, US or any EU jurisdictions (multiple bar admissions are a plus)
• 5+ years of experience as a lawyer (relevant experience in at least two of the following areas: Finance Law, IP law, IT law, Corporate Law, AML/CFT law, Privacy Law, Tax Law)
• Deep interest and adequate legal knowledge of Web3 space, blockchain technology crypto-assets
• Fluent in English (any other language is a plus)
