About this opportunity:

We are looking for Data Engineer with strong background in designing and building Data Analytics and Reporting pipelines, together with good consultative skills. The role will focus on the development and evolution of the Data Analytics and Reporting components of our online video platform. Our OTT video platform is offering end to end streaming services (Linear TV channels, Video on Demand, Live events) on multiple devices (web, mobile, smart devices) to major customers in a B2B model.

What you will do:

• Support application development activities.
• Handle complex change execution.
• Analyze the impact of change introduction.
• Analyze and design application specifications.
• Analyze the capacity and performance impact of business requirements.
• Perform analysis of IS/IT specifications and engineering specifications.
• Analyze the capacity and performance impact of change requests.
• Develop low-level project plans for solution development.

• Previous experience in Data Engineering /Data Science domain
• Good Python knowledge
• Python libraries:

 NumPy

 SciPy

• Good SQL knowledge
• Basic Java knowledge
• Database skills
• Relational DBs (MS SQL, Postgres etc.)
• Elasticsearch
• MongoDB
• Clickhouse
• Cass
• dbt knowledge (data build tool)
• dlt (data load tool)
• Data visualization tools (such as Superset, Tableau etc)
• Data Orchestration Tools (Dagster, Airflow, Prefect etc)
• Solid ETL/ELT knowledge
• Apache Flink / Good knowledge about streaming ETL
• Well versed in building data pipelines
• Architectures for storing and processing large volumes of data
• Kafka / RabbitMQ
• Basic infrastructure knowledge
• Public cloud solutions (Azure/AWS)
• CI/CD Pipelines
• Adept with DevOps tools such as
  
  

 Jenkins, GIT

• Kubernetes knowledge
