Fullstack Developer (Gamedev)

Responsibilities:

1. Backend Development for Game:

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable back-end systems for Space Mavericks.
• Optimize multiplayer networking, low-latency communication, and real-time server-side logic.
• Collaborate closely with game designers and developers to implement core gameplay features.
• Ensure high performance and stability for game servers under heavy player loads.
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues, ensuring a smooth player experience.

2. Frontend Development:

• Work together with a UI/UX designer and develop a responsive, user-friendly website for Space Mavericks.
• Create web-based tools and dashboards for player stats, game updates, and community engagement.
• Ensure integration between the website and game services (APIs, databases, etc.).
• Collaborate with designers to deliver a polished, visually appealing web presence.
• Continuously update and optimize the website for performance, accessibility, and usability.


Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Fullstack Developer, with a focus on backend game development and frontend web development.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) for game server hosting.
• Expertise in Unity (C#) for game backend development.
• Proficiency in backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, or similar, with experience in multiplayer game architecture.
• Strong experience with frontend web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React, Vue, or Angular).
• Previous experience in the gaming industry, working on multiplayer or real-time game projects.
• Strong understanding of networking, databases, and server management for gaming environments.
• Experience with responsive design and delivering high-quality, interactive web experiences.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus Skills:

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and containerization (Docker).
• Knowledge of payment gateway integration, user authentication, and security best practices for websites.
