Your Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven SAP Logistics (MM/ SD) Consultant to join our team for a SAP S/4HANA implementation project with one of IBM’s key clients in the Public Sector. The consultant will work closely with senior client stakeholders to assess business needs, evaluate system readiness, and develop solutions that align with the organization's objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with senior client stakeholders to determine business needs through consultations, business analysis, and targeted observations.
• Participate in the design phase of the SAP S/4 implementation project, producing detailed Business Blueprints.
• Evaluate and assess existing IT infrastructure and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Lead and guide a team of medior and junior consultants in:
• Developing, configuring, and deploying SAP MM solutions.
• Writing scripts and programs to create user-friendly interfaces and enhanced functionalities.
• Ensuring smooth system integration and addressing any issues that arise.
• Providing troubleshooting support to optimize SAP performance.
• Offering end-user training and ongoing SAP system support.
• Maintain rigorous documentation of SAP processes and present regular progress reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards.
• Stay up to date with the latest SAP developments, offerings, and system updates.
  
  
  

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
• SAP-accredited certifications.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience as an SAP Logistics Consultant, with deep expertise in SAP MM and/or SD.
• Proven experience with SAP system deployment and integration.
• Experience within the Public Sector is a strong plus.
• Experience with SAP Industry Solutions DFPS or D&S is highly desirable.
• Excellent collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
• Dutch language proficiency and Dutch citizenship are required for this position.
