Why our client is hiring for this position/mission

We’re looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer with expertise in GoLang to join our team. You’ll build scalable server-side applications and APIs, with opportunities to work on LLMs, RAG APIs, vector databases, Redis, and Test-Driven Development (TDD). Experience with AWS services like SQS, SNS, Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, ECS, and monitoring tools like Datadog is highly valued.

Description

Develop and maintain back-end services in GoLang.
Design scalable APIs and database solutions.
Collaborate with front-end teams to integrate user-facing elements.
Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
Troubleshoot and debug existing software.
Implement TDD to ensure quality code.
Leverage AWS services for event-driven systems.
Monitor performance with Datadog

Requirements

Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
5+ years of back-end development experience.
Proficient in GoLang.
Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and Redis.
Familiar with AWS cloud services.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Great communication and teamwork.

Nice to have

Experience with LLMs, RAG APIs, and vector databases.
Python experience is a plus.
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices.
