Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test features for applications and services.
- Ensure applications are available, reliable, and scalable.
- Develop hands-on software infrastructure to perform at scale.
- Write clean, tested, and maintainable code.
- Conduct code reviews, evaluate implementations, and provide feedback for tool improvements.
- Participate in technical and architectural discussions.
- Collaborate with partners to understand requirements, use cases, and build a cohesive technical strategy.
- Ensure system reliability and availability through proactive monitoring, incident response, and performance optimization.
- Design and maintain automation tools and scripts for deployment, configuration management, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in on-call rotations to support production systems.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 6+ years of experience in software development for scalable services.
- Expertise in Java and Node.js programming.
- Experience in consuming and designing REST APIs.
- Proficiency in building applications on AWS using services like CloudFront, DynamoDB, Lambda, S3, IAM, EC2, and CloudWatch.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a customer-facing production environment.
- Experience defining and building CI/CD processes with tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or Spinnaker.
- Experience implementing unit and integration tests.
