We are seeking a Product Owner/Product Manager – Reporting, Analytics, and Value Metrics with expertise in reporting, analytics, and value measurement to bridge the gap between data insights and product strategy for our client analytics and reporting suite of products. This role will be pivotal in defining and securing stakeholder alignment on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), value methodology, and calculation formulas that demonstrate the impact and success of the product.
As a key leader in our team, you will collaborate with the client partner to take over this responsibility in time. You will work with cross-functional partners to ensure the value of our client’s digital products is measurable, actionable, and clearly communicated. Your work will directly influence decision-making, improve member experiences, and drive business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and align on KPIs and Value Metrics:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance or newly identify meaningful KPIs for measuring the success of our digital product suite.
- Expand on a foundational and client trusted methodology to measure the value methodology, ensuring clarity and consistency in the calculation formulas.
- Secure alignment from internal teams, client leadership, and business partners on KPIs and value metrics.
Bridge Reporting and Analytics with Product Strategy:
- Work closely with reporting and analytics teams to understand data sources, data acquisition processes, and cement related processes.
- Translate resulting monthly analytics into actionable insights to inform product decisions and strategy.
- Partner with existing analytics team members to enhance or newly design the dashboards that will enable tracking of KPIs.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a trusted advisor to the client partner, client digital product leadership, business leads, and technical teams.
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops and meetings to align on value measurement frameworks and keep all stakeholders informed with clearly managed expectations.
- Create compelling presentations and narratives to communicate value realization to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Product Management and Delivery:
- Own the product backlog for reporting and analytics features related to value measurement and performance reporting for all products.
- Prioritize work in partnership with Scrum master(s) based on business needs, technical feasibility, and stakeholder input.
- Ensure timely delivery of reporting features and enhancements that align with the client’s committed roadmap.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Monitor and analyze product performance against defined KPIs.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in data accuracy, reporting capabilities, and value measurement processes.
- Drive iterative improvements to the value methodology and reporting tools.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 5-10 years of experience in product management or product ownership, preferably in digital product development or analytics-driven roles.
- Experience working with reporting and analytics teams to define and measure KPIs.
- Background in healthcare payer industries, digital assistants, or AI-based products is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of data analytics, reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and data visualization.
- Familiarity with calculation formulas, value modeling, and methodologies for measuring product success.
- Experience with Agile frameworks, backlog management tools (e.g., Jira), and roadmap creation.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to bridge gaps between technical and non-technical teams.
- Analytical thinker with a strategic mindset and the ability to simplify complex problems.
- Strong influencing skills to drive alignment and consensus among diverse stakeholders.
