Title: Assistant Project Manager
Location: Remote
Project Management
- Monthly forecasting and schedule updates. Review contractor forecasts and accruals
- Managing of scope, budget, and schedule
- Invoice checklist and approval
- Regular communication with Principal Project Managers
- Ensure proper staffing to successfully complete the projects assigned.
- Complete all required company and department training.
- Attend regular Project Management meetings and report financials, schedule, and progress as required.
- Secure and manage contracts through contract requisition as required on an individual project basis
- Conduct routine project meetings with project teams
- Coordinate with all related projects/ on site-activities
- Support preparation of condition reports or ACE investigations as required
- Submit program screening forms, project and ITN requests
- Manage scope development with SMEs
- Tech Challenge scheduling and participation with project team
- Coordinate with environmental, real estate ane external affairs as required
- Conduct Walk downs as required
- Ensure timely ordering of long lead materials. Confirm major materials MR entry and availability
- Source any needed contracted engineering and permitting services
- Develop preliminary outage planning
- Develop preliminary risk management plan, change control plan, schedule, and forecasted cash flows
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in business administration, engineering or related field
- 3-10 years of experience within Utilities or construction industry
- 3-10 years of project management/assistance experience
