We’re seeking a Network Engineer Tier 2 to provide advanced technical support and lead IT projects for our diverse range of clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, troubleshoot challenging issues, and make a significant impact on the success of our clients' IT infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced technical support for complex hardware, software, and network issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated incidents and service requests efficiently.
• Visit client sites as needed to deliver on-site support.
• Monitor and manage client IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Implement routine maintenance, system updates, and optimizations.
• Lead the resolution of challenging IT incidents, document root causes, and apply preventive measures.
• Mentor and guide Level 1 engineers in troubleshooting and resolution processes.
• Contribute to IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and implementations.
• Maintain detailed documentation of client environments, configurations, and support procedures.
• Collaborate directly with clients to understand their technical needs and provide proactive solutions.
• Communicate technical information, status updates, and recommendations effectively to clients.

What You’ll Need:

• Proven hands-on experience in network engineering (3+ years).
• Advanced knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless technologies.
• Deep understanding of networking protocols and the OSI or TCP/IP model.
• Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools.
• Hands-on experience with hardware (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, SonicWall, Meraki) and network cabling installation.
• Proficiency in network operating systems (e.g., Cisco IOS, Juniper JUNOS).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA).
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
