Position: Full Stack Website Developer

Location: Doha

Job Type: Full-time/Contract

Salary: 3000 - 3500 QAR per month

We are looking for a talented and motivated Full Stack Website Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in building and maintaining robust ecommerce websites, and will play a key role in improving our user experience and enhancing the performance of our platform.

Role Overview

As a Full Stack Website Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both the front-end and back-end of our ecommerce website. You will work closely with the design, marketing, and product teams to ensure the site is scalable, responsive, and user-friendly. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end technologies (Node.js, PHP, or Python), as well as ecommerce platform experience.

Responsibilities

Front-End Development:
Design and develop user-friendly, responsive, and visually appealing web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Integrate interactive UI components and ensure compatibility across browsers and devices.
Optimize the site for mobile devices and tablets, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Back-End Development:
Design and implement scalable server-side applications and services using languages like Node.js, PHP, or Python.
Develop and maintain APIs for both internal and external integrations.
Manage databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB) and optimize data storage and retrieval for high performance.
Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure website integrity.
Ecommerce Integration:
Integrate third-party payment gateways, shipping modules, and other ecommerce tools.
Work with product, inventory, and order management systems to ensure smooth operations and user experience.
Implement features such as product recommendations, reviews, and customer authentication.
Testing and Debugging:
Conduct rigorous testing to ensure functionality, performance, and usability of the website.
Troubleshoot issues and provide efficient, timely solutions to bugs and performance bottlenecks.
Use tools like Git for version control and deployment processes.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, marketing, and product managers to align development with business goals.
Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards and best practices.
Website Optimization:
Optimize the website for SEO to increase organic traffic.
Ensure fast load times and smooth user interactions across the site.
Keep up with the latest web technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the platform.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a strong portfolio of ecommerce website development.
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.).
Experience with server-side technologies (Node.js, PHP, Python, etc.) and backend frameworks (Express.js, Django, Laravel, etc.).
Strong understanding of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB, and experience with ORMs.
Experience working with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or custom-built solutions.
Knowledge of web security, performance optimization, and best practices for building scalable applications.
Familiarity with version control tools, particularly Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and web analytics.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Familiarity with tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana for project management.
