Job Summary:

The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large data sets to drive strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will leverage Power BI and other data analysis tools to create dynamic dashboards and reports, translating complex data into actionable insights for various business departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Interpretation:

  • Collect, clean, and process data from multiple sources.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business decision-making.

Power BI Reporting:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
  • Create data models, visualizations, and reports that clearly communicate business metrics and KPIs to stakeholders.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, finance, and operations to understand their data needs and deliver accurate and timely reports.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure data is collected, stored, and managed efficiently.

Data Integrity & Quality:

  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency by implementing quality checks and validation processes.
  • Manage and resolve data-related issues and discrepancies.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Provide actionable insights to improve business processes, drive operational efficiency, and support strategic goals.
  • Recommend data-driven improvements to business strategies and operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, or R is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
  • Knowledge of other data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) for data storage and analysis.

Key Competencies:

  • Critical thinking and data-driven problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Type: Temporary

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: QAR10,000.00 - QAR12,000.00 per month
