Requirements

  • We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust network solutions while improving the efficiency and security of existing systems.
  • This role requires hands-on expertise in network equipment, protocols, and tools, combined with a strong focus on documentation and troubleshooting.
  • Design and deploy new network solutions or enhance the efficiency of existing networks.
  • Install, configure, and support network equipment such as routers, switches, SD-WAN, out-of-band (OOB) networks, and wireless infrastructure.
  • Optimize wireless, routing, and switching configurations to ensure maximum efficiency and security, adhering to established network standards.
  • Monitor network performance metrics, including availability, utilization, throughput, and latency, to identify and address weaknesses.
  • Perform deployments, maintenance, and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and outages, schedule upgrades, and collaborate with network architects on optimization initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain detailed network diagrams and documentation.
  • Prepare performance statistics and reports for ongoing analysis and optimization.
  • Document network problems and their resolutions to support future troubleshooting efforts.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven hands-on experience in network engineering.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of network operating systems (e.g., Cisco IOS, Wireless, SilverPeak).
  • Expertise in networking protocols such as IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, and QoS.
  • Familiarity with access control models and network security principles.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Cacti).
  • Strong understanding of network hardware, including Cisco wired and wireless devices, SilverPeak, and OpenGear.

Certifications-

  • CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certification or higher is a must.
