Product Manager, Driver Experience Compliance

We are looking for a product manager to handle local and global regulatory challenges in our ride hailing business. Majority of changes affect the daily lives of our drivers. Your job is to balance the complexity of solutions while adding as little friction to drivers, understanding the risk and urgency. You will be working with 40+ markets with the help of our central operations team to address regulatory challenges. Having experience for setting up processes and handling a large pool of stakeholders is a must have.

About The Role

As a Product Manager you will be responsible for defining the product strategy for your domain based on the group’s strategy. We’re looking for someone that is able to contribute directly to the group’s strategy, and define measurable success metrics on the P&L level. Your ability to build strong partnerships with cross-domain and cross functional stakeholders, and influence their strategy and decision making, will be essential to your success in this role.

Your daily adventures will include:

• Creating strategy and owning the big picture and the backlog for the domain
• Leading the discovery in order to find key pain points and opportunities within the existing product
• Decomposing loosely defined regulatory problems to actionable plans making harsh tradeoff decisions
• Aligning the stakeholders across product, operations, and tech about what is being built and why
• Taking always the Driver first mindset to any regulatory change to cause as little friction as possible
  
  
  

About you:

• You have 3+ years of experience in Product Management with a track record of business impact at scale ideally in fast-paced technology companies, but don’t let this stop you from applying if you think this is the right role for you
• You have a pragmatic approach to product development that balances user research, data insights, and hands-on experience with data analytics toolkits and research techniques
• You pay extra attention to detail and have passion for the best-in-class user experience. After all, you're the voice of our users
• You are business-savvy - hands-on with the basics behind business models
• You have superb communication and leadership skills, ability to decompose complex solutions and insights into a simple narrative for a versatile cross-functional organization
