As a Project Manager within ITS, you will be provided with the opportunity to lead and manage a diverse range of technical ICT projects for the department. The diversity of our environment will enable you to build on your project leadership skills in a constructive, collaborative and outcome-based environment. You will manage a few IT projects at various stages in their lifecycle, ranging from ideation to operationalisation. Presentation to executive steering committee may be required for some projects.
About Us
At the Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC), our primary responsibility is to provide support and guidance to the Premier and Cabinet to effectively deliver on the government's priorities, commitments, decisions, and objectives for the betterment of the community.
The Information Technology Services team supports the delivery of IT services to the Department, Ministerial Offices, and the Office of the Leader of the Opposition, and is comprised of 34 staff within the People and Services Division.
Your Opportunity
There are several small to medium projects relating to a variety of IT initiatives from cyber, process improvement, compliance and data analytics, which are either inflight or to commence. You will be expected to manage more than one project concurrently.
You will be working alongside a team of project managers, with opportunity to provide project assurance for each other.
About You
The ideal candidates that the panel are seeking will want to manage all aspects of the project and whilst understanding the details be able to articulate to the business in a way they can understand.
