Java Software Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Development Excellence: You design and implement Java applications using technologies like Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, and RESTful APIs.

+ Cloud Expertise: You contribute to cloud-based projects using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

+ Collaborative Problem-Solving: You embrace Agile principles, engage in meaningful discussions with your team, and apply problem-solving and analytical skills to tackle challenges.

+ Continuous Improvement: You adhere to best practices like the 12-factor app principles, and enjoy learning and sharing knowledge with your colleagues.

+ Quality Assurance: You write and test code with tools such as JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber to deliver clean and reliable software.

+ Hybrid Flexibility: You work both remotely and on-site at client locations, with a schedule tailored to your region and preferences.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

+ Experience: At least 5 years in Java software development or convince us why you’re the right fit even with less experience!

+ Technical Skills: Proficiency with security, web services, Spring Boot, JavaScript, Hibernate, REST/SOAP, JSON/XML, and SQL. Experience with NoSQL is a plus.

+ Mindset: A proactive, positively critical thinker who thrives in a collaborative environment and communicates fluently in Dutch and English (French is a bonus).

+ Agile Enthusiast: Agile principles are second nature to you, and you’re always looking for ways to optimize your workflow.
